12 - On 27 November 1971, Bayern beat Dortmund 11-1 in the highest-scoring Klassiker in Bundesliga history. Indeed, there have never been more than 12 goals in a single Bundesliga fixture. Gerd Müller scored four times, and remains the only player to do so in a Klassiker. Lothar Emmerich scored the only Dortmund hat-trick in the contest in a 6-3 win in September 1967, while Kane netted a hat-trick for Bayern at the Signal Iduna Park in November 2023.
