Paris FC have confirmed the appointment of former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior as their new head coach, with the Englishman signing a contract that runs until June 2028.
The 41-year-old replaces Antoine Kombouare, who led the club to an 11th-place finish in Ligue 1 last season.
Paris FC Sporting Director Marco Neppe praised Rosenior’s qualities, saying the club had found the type of coach they were looking for.
“Liam Rosenior combines all the qualities we wanted in a manager. He is a modern and demanding coach, known for his ability to develop players and improve teams. Alongside his tactical knowledge, we were especially impressed by his leadership skills and his ability to bring a group together around a clear vision,” Neppe said.
Rosenior returns to French football after his spell in charge of RC Strasbourg from 2024 to 2026. He later took over at Chelsea in January following Enzo Maresca’s departure.
However, his time at Stamford Bridge was brief, with Chelsea terminating his contract less than four months after his appointment, despite initially giving him a long-term deal until 2032.
Paris FC confirmed that Rosenior will officially begin his duties on Thursday.
